A high school student waited for an hour without passing by a suspicious person who entered the women's bathroom.
Channel A's 'News A' reported exclusively that a high school student in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do, saw a suspicious person and stood in front of the women's bathroom for an hour, and finally caught a teenager who was trying to take hidden photos/videos illegally.
According to reports, on the night of the 12th at a commercial building in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, a high schooler was arrested on the spot after being caught by another high schooler who suspected him of taking illegal hidden camera footage in the women's bathroom.
This process was captured in CCTV footage of the building that day.
In the video, A, a teenage male wearing a gray hoodie, is seen leaving the elevator of a commercial building. A walked slowly down the hallway that led to the bathroom.
After a while, high school student B, wearing a dark sweater, came out of the bathroom, but he did not leave immediately and continued to stare at the bathroom from which he had just left.
B stood guard in front of the bathroom, being alert in this way for about 50 minutes.
After that, when male A came out of the bathroom, B blocked A by standing in front of him holding him so that he could not runoff.
B, who had entered the bathroom after A, saw that A had entered the women's bathroom and became suspicious. So he waited for A to come out.
The police arrived at the scene after receiving a report while B was still holding off A.
When the police checked A's cellphone at the scene, there were no illegally filmed videos or photos.
However, during further investigation, the police found another cell phone. The second cell phone had several illegal videos filmed last month in a women's restroom in a shopping mall.
It was reported that an afterschool academy for elementary, middle, and high school students is located on the floor where this incident took place.
The police have booked A on charges of illegal filming and are investigating through digital forensics whether there are additional crimes committed by A.
Glad that the second student took an initiative
