It has been over a year since the highly publicized and controversial 'nut rage' incident involving Korean Air's vice president Helen Cho and her demand to turn a plane already in flight back around.

Cho has since resigned from her post and the controversy simmered down eventually; however, there are still those who are suffering from the aftereffects of the incident, one of them being Park Chang Jin, the crew member who was on the receiving end of Cho's outrageous demand.

Park is said to be suffering from post traumatic stress and unable to sleep properly. Due to these disorders, Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service extended his recovery period by three additional months. Including this recently granted extension, Park will have been out of work and in recovery for a total of 435 days which dates all the way back from January 29 of last year to April 7 of this year.

During this span of time, Park has received 60 hours worth of base pay, bonus, and allowances.
