The production team of the movie 'The Roundup 5' (directed by Heo Myung Haeng) has issued a warning regarding impersonation and fraudulent activities.
On March 5, the team posted on B.A. Entertainment’s official social media, stating, “There have been recent cases of individuals impersonating our staff to approach people under the pretext of actor auditions or casting.”
They emphasized that all official communications are made through formal channels. “While the production team may contact actors directly, in such cases we always disclose our affiliation and verify identity through official signatures and documents,” they warned.
The notice clarified that no monetary requests are made during the casting process, and auditions are conducted only at official offices. A representative added, “We do not request individual meetings at inappropriate locations.”
The statement continued, “We will take strong legal action against impersonation and fraud,” urging actors to exercise caution to avoid any potential harm from similar incidents.
'The Roundup' is currently in pre-production, with filming scheduled to begin later this year and a release planned for next year.
