The new 'plagiarization' accusations occur amid ongoing controversy over the alleged similarities between ILLIT and NewJeans. After the Seoul Central District Court recently stated that ILLIT's concept was "significantly similar to NewJeans," ILLIT has faced intensified scrutiny and criticism.
