Actor and former dancer Cha Hyun Seung stepped onto the red carpet at the '2026 F/W Seoul Fashion Week' on the afternoon of February 7, attending the 'ADRIEL ROSE photo wall event' held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Jung gu, Seoul.
Dressed stylishly for the occasion, Cha Hyun Seung greeted cameras with a noticeably brighter and softer expression, drawing warm attention from onlookers. His appearance comes after a difficult health battle, making his return to public events even more meaningful to fans.
On February 5, Cha Hyun Seung shared several photos on social media with the caption, “A single outfit gentleman’s trip in Tokyo.” The images captured moments from his recent trip to Tokyo, Japan. Wearing a hoodie and padded jacket, he was seen leisurely walking through the city streets, his relaxed demeanor and cheerful smile catching the eye.
Previously, Cha Hyun Seung personally revealed in September 2025 that he had been battling leukemia. After being rushed to the emergency room unexpectedly in June of that year, he devoted approximately six months to treatment. On December 22, he announced through social media that he had made a full recovery.
At the time, he candidly reflected, “The fight that felt like it would never end has finally come to a close,” sharing how he steadied his heart through fear and pain. He also expressed a deeply moving realization, saying, “I came to understand that even pain is part of the process that keeps me alive,” and added, “As I kept smiling, the fear gradually faded.” His words resonated with many.
After his Tokyo travel photos were released, netizens responded with supportive messages such as, “He really looks healthy now,” “I’m relieved to see such a bright expression,” and “It’s even more heartwarming after the news of his recovery.”
Meanwhile, Cha Hyun Seung first gained widespread recognition through the 'Single's Inferno' on Netflix. He later drew further attention when it became known that he had worked as a dancer for Sunmi. He also left a strong impression as a contestant on Netflix’s 'Physical: 100.'
Cha Hyun Seung additionally shared a heartfelt message of hope, saying he sincerely prays that patients who are still undergoing treatment at this very moment will also make a full recovery.
