On February 20 KST, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) officially released the list of the world's best-selling singles for the year 2025.

BLACKPINK Rosé and Bruno Mars’s collaboration single “APT.” placed No. 1 on the 2025 ‘IFPI Global Single Chart.’ This makes Rosé the first K-Pop artist in IFPI history to snag the top spot on the global single chart of the year.

Rosé joins major industry names among the chart’s top entries. Following her and Bruno Mars for “APT.” are ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ HUNTR/X, placing second for “Golden,” along with Alex Warren, Lady Gaga for her collaboration with Bruno Mars, Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Teddy Swims, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, and Gracie Abrams.

Released in October 2024, “APT.” took the world by storm over social media, gaining worldwide recognition, topping local and international charts, and earning Rosé her first-ever Grammy nomination.

Congratulations to Rosé and Bruno!

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to make their long-awaited group comeback on February 27 with their third mini-album ‘DEADLINE.’
