'M! Countdown' stage collapses during idntt's stage, causing live broadcast delay

A potentially dangerous stage malfunction caused a significant delay during the January 22 broadcast of Mnet's 'M! Countdown'. 

During boy group idntt's performance of their 15-member stage "Pretty Boy Swag", part of the stage collapsed as the members shifted their formations.

Eventually, the live broadcast was halted as 'M! Countdown' attempted to resolve the issue in real-time. During the broadcast delay, Mnet aired music videos of artists like EXO and ALPHA DRIVE ONE. While the broadcast itself was cut short, the weekly broadcast managed to conclude on time with the winner announcement and the encore stage. 

Many netizens commented in alarm, "It's such a relief that no one was hurt", "OMG were any of those boys hurt", "What the hell happened how did the stage collapse like that..", "It is literally collapsing that's so scary", "Those idols handled it well, but this could have led to a serious accident", "This might be the craziest thing I've ever seen on 'M! Countdown'", and more.
