Zico has hinted at a collaboration with Japanese singer/song-writer Lilas, also known as the vocalist Ikura of YOASOBI.
From December 11-12 KST, Zico publicly shared his ongoing search for a partner willing to sing his new song, "DUET", with him. The search featured a stylish invitation and necklace sent out to stars like Lee Eun Ji, Go Kyung Pyo, 10cm, IVE's Rei, and Colde. The last person to receive the invitation and necklace was Lilas, who accepted the invitation with the remark, "I'd love to, Let's DUET!".
Zico then reposted the Japanese singer's response with a handshake emoji and a release date of December 19 at midnight KST, suggesting that Lilas was chosen as his duet partner.
Meanwhile, Zico is set to greet his Japanese fans at his '2026 Zico Live : Tokyo Drive' in Tokyo, Japan next year on February 7.
