
Dowoon, drummer of the popular K-pop band DAY6, has made a generous donation of 100 million KRW (approx. 71,000 USD) to support medical treatment for children and adolescents.
According to JYP Entertainment on November 4, Dowoon delivered the donation to Samsung Medical Center on October 31 to assist young patients in need of surgeries, transplants, and other critical treatments.
“I was able to participate in this warm act of giving thanks to the love and support I’ve received from fans,” Dowoon shared. “I’ll continue to be grateful for all the love and strive to spread positive influence.”
This year marks DAY6’s 10th anniversary since debut, and the band continues to celebrate with various activities. They are set to hold their 2025 DAY6 Special Concert ‘The Present’ at the KSPO Dome in Seoul from December 19 to 21.
