[INTERVIEW] NTX talks touring and goals: “NTX always thinks long-term”

Having been in the music scene for four years, NTX continues to explore and take on challenges as they journey forward.

Earlier in March, the eight-member boy group released their second full-length album ‘OVER TRACK,’ consisting of 11 songs: “SCOOT,” “OVER N OVER,” “WASSUP,” “STAY,” “Mind Box,” “Rabona Kick,” “Like This,” “Sir,” “Memories,” “Take it easy,” and the English version of the title track “OVER N OVER.”

During their visit to Manila for their first mall show (presented by Artistgroupk in collaboration with Robinsons Malls, Robinsons Galleria, Tnlive and Seoul Vibes Manila), allkpop chatted with the members, Hyungjin, Yoonhyeok, Xiha, Changhun, Hojun, Rohyun, Eunho, and Seungwon, to talk about their tour so far and future projects. NTX shout-out to allkpop:

allkpop: Since your full album ‘OVER TRACK’ dropped in March, how have the first few months of 2025 been for NTX?

Yoonhyuk: I think our world tour has been a great success, and because the songs on this album are so good, I really hope they become even more widely known.

Hyungjin: ‘OVER TRACK’ includes many songs that we truly love. That made it even more enjoyable for us to perform, and I think our fans could feel that energy too. Through this album, we were able to sing and dance together with fans in countries we visited for the very first time, which was such a meaningful experience.

Eunho: Through this ‘OVER TRACK’ album, we were able to show many new sides of ourselves to our fans. We also had the chance to visit different countries on tour and meet so many NTfuls, which made me really happy. The cheers and love we received meant so much to us!

allkpop: Can we expect more music or projects from you for the rest of the year?

Rohyun: As the main producer, I’m continuously writing new songs, and the members are also working hard on their own compositions. We can’t say exactly when the next release will be, but I hope everyone looks forward to it.

Seungwon: You can definitely expect more from us. Even though we’ve already released many songs and albums, NTX always wants to take on new challenges, grow further, and become a group that fans can be proud of. Please continue to look forward to our journey ahead.

allkpop Can you share with us your rituals or routines before taking the stage to perform?

Rohyun: Before going on stage, I always do a bit of mind control by telling myself, “I’m at my best right now.” That mindset helps me perform with confidence.

Changhun: I usually drink a lot of water before performances. The more nervous I feel, the more water I tend to drink. I also make sure to stretch before stepping on stage.

Hojun: I still get nervous every time I go on stage, no matter how many times I perform. So I take deep breaths to calm myself down and reduce the tension before performing.

allkpop: It's been about 4 years since your official debut. What has been your favorite moment or memory so far?

Hojun: Our very first concert is the most memorable for me. When we debuted, the pandemic made it impossible to meet fans at music shows or events. But after the pandemic, we finally held our first concert and met our fans face-to-face for the very first time, that moment will always stay with me.

Yoonhyuk: For me, the world tours after the ‘Peak Time’ program were especially memorable.

allkpop: What are your short- and long-term goals for NTX? What do you want people to know and remember about NTX?

Xiha: I hope you remember us as a group that always works hard and does our best. We’ll continue to surprise you with amazing songs!

Seungwon: NTX always thinks long-term. Right now, we’re visiting fans across different countries on tour, but someday, we want to stand on a truly massive stage with all of our global fans gathered together.

Hyungjin: Up until now, we’ve been steadily building recognition step by step. But I believe the time has come for NTX to truly break through. Please remember us as a group that keeps growing and becoming even cooler.
