A well-known girl group surprised many by confessing that their contracts included a "no pregnancy" clause.
On the August 19 broadcast of SBS's 'Dolsing Fourmen,' Rainbow members Cho Hyun Young and Go Woo Ri appeared as guests alongside Bae Jung Man and comedian Kim Kyu Won, sharing a variety of stories.
During the show, Kim Joon Ho pointed out that Kim Kyu Won looks like a Buddha. In response, Lee Sang Min made a gesture of rubbing Kim Kyu Won and wishing for a child. Immediately after, Go Woo Ri, who had been married for four years, also stretched out her hands to touch Kim Kyu Won, saying, "Me too." However, Cho Hyun Young stopped her from reaching, adding, "You can't. You're prohibited from getting pregnant."
Go Woo Ri protested, "Forget that, I'm going to get pregnant," making the cast members laugh. Lee Sang Min, who was surprised to hear this, chimed in and asked, "A Long time ago, it was 'no scandals', but is 'no pregnancy' included now too?" In response, Go Woo Ri candidly shared, "In our contract, there's a clause that says no pregnancy during the active period."
What was surprising was that Cho Hyun Young, who is single, also had the same clause in her contract.
The Dolsing members were perplexed that Cho Hyun Young also had the same clause and commented, "But Cho Hyun Young's not married." In response, Go Woo Ri said, "There's no set order these days," and Hyun Young added, "These days, having a child before marriage is like a wedding gift," making the cast laugh.
Meanwhile, Go Woo Ri married a businessman five years her senior back in 2022. Go Woo Ri revealed that she met her husband through a blind date, held hands after just three days, and promised marriage within three months. "I just had a feeling he was the one I was going to marry," she said, expressing her affection for her husband.
