IU shared details about the extraordinary scale of the holiday gifts she prepares each year.
On March 11, a video titled 'IU IU Reason | EP. 81 IU' was released on Salon Drip. During the interview, IU discussed her work-life balance, saying, "I like being at home, but I still do work-related things. My mode switches the moment I put on makeup and the moment I take it off, so I turn on and off instantly. I think the fact that Lee Ji Eun and IU have different names also plays a part in this."
IU was also asked, "Don't people recognize you because of your voice?" She responded, "When I go to a restaurant or café to buy something, they recognize me. I've changed my voice once or twice in the 18 years I've been active. When I go outside, I raise my voice and speak differently."
When host Jang Do Yeon mentioned, "I heard you send 100 holiday gifts," IU laughed and admitted, "I started when I was young, but now I can't stop."
She explained, "Whenever I meet new people, I take notes and update my list."

When asked, "Are there people who get eliminated?" IU responded, "I've been doing this for about 10 years, but when my seniors say, ‘Stop now. If you send more, I'll get angry,’ I send it with my heart instead of actually sending it. There are cases where I don’t send it that way, but I rarely remove people from the list."
IU also shared her personalized approach to gift-giving, saying, "Most of the 100 gifts are food, but I prepare them differently for each person. Some seniors love meat, some are vegetarians, and some enjoy alcohol. I can't send the same gift I gave for Lunar New Year on Chuseok, so I make sure the gifts don’t overlap."
She added, "Some people think I do this because I feel obligated, but I genuinely enjoy it. The joy of giving is truly amazing."
