On February 8th, MBC’s 'Hangout with Yoo' (directed by Kim Jin Yong, Lee Joo Won, Wang Jong Seok, Ahn Ji Sun, Bang Seong Su; written by Noh Min Seon) will feature the "People Who Work During the Holidays" special, showcasing Yoo Jae Suk and Joo Woo Jae working as highway patrolmen on the busy roads during the Lunar New Year holiday.
In the broadcast, Yoo Jae Suk and Joo Woo Jae are seen working alongside employees of the Korea Expressway Corporation, patrolling the highways. The two are checking on vehicles parked dangerously on the roadside, inspecting facilities, and making sure the roads are clean while staying busy with their duties.
At one point, they enjoy a brief moment of light-hearted conversation while traffic is flowing smoothly. However, things take a turn when a siren suddenly blares, causing both of them to look visibly alarmed. As vehicles rush past the patrol car, the two are on high alert, scanning their surroundings, sparking curiosity about the intensity of the situation.
After completing their patrol, Yoo Jae Suk and Joo Woo Jae step out of the patrol car, exhausted. Their faces, which seem pale compared to when they entered the car, hint at the tension they experienced during their patrol. They share their thoughts, saying, “We can’t afford to let our guard down,” which piques viewers' interest about the unseen dynamics of highway patrol.
The full experience of Yoo Jae Suk and Joo Woo Jae as highway patrolmen will air on MBC’s 'Hangout with Yoo' on Saturday, February 8th, at 6:25 PM.
