Actor Shim Hyung Tak and his wife Saya introduced their newborn son on Channel A’s These Days Men’s Life - Groom Class.
Following the announcement, many congratulatory messages poured in. When Lee Seung Chul commented, “You look very haggard,” Shim Hyung Tak replied, “I looked after the baby until 6:30 in the morning before coming here.”

He continued, “I take care of him from 11 PM to 7 AM while my wife sleeps. Then, she wakes up and looks after him while I rest—we co-parent.” Groom-to-be Kim Jong Min listened attentively to his experience.
Shim Hyung Tak also shared the emotional moment of his wife's labor, saying, “Saya was in labor for 12 hours. The nurse came out and said, ‘The mother is amazing. She endured the pain so well.’” He proudly added, “Of course, I took care of Saya first.”
In particular, their son, Haru, captured everyone’s attention with his striking features, resembling both his mother and father. Shim Hyung Tak affectionately noted, “He has the same eyebrows as Saya.” Comedian Shim Jin Hwa added with excitement, “I think he looks more like BTS’ Jungkook than his dad!”
Meanwhile, Shim Hyung Tak's wife, Hirai Saya, previously garnered attention for her resemblance to BTS's Jungkook.
