On January 21st, travel YouTuber Wonji revealed the news of her marriage through a heartfelt message posted on the community page of her channel, 'Wonji's Day.' She began her post with, "I'm going to tell you some (very) surprising news. I'm getting married! The wedding will be very simple, with only my family, and I'm planning to hold it inconspicuously."
Wonji shared her reflections, writing, "I've always shown you how I live happily alone, so I think you're probably very surprised. At some point, my daily life became a trip, and I thought of the difficult moments that everyone experiences as 'this is also part of the trip' and laughed it off. During that process, I met someone who made me feel freer and more comfortable." She also introduced her fiancé and expressed her confidence in their journey together, saying, "In my life, which has been full of unpredictable ups and downs, I'm confident that I can go further and have more fun with this person. I don't know where or how I'll go in the future, but I'm going to continue to live as my heart flows."
Addressing the timing of her announcement, Wonji added, "While doing YouTube, I am always grateful for the interest and support from so many people in my small daily life, but on the other hand, I was cautious about sharing this news. That is why I ask for your understanding for the late announcement." She concluded with hope, saying, "I think it is a great blessing to be able to share important moments in life with so many people. I hope we can continue to support and move forward together on the journey of life."

Hello everyone,
I’m here to share some news that might (very much) surprise you.
I am... getting married!
The wedding will be held very simply, with only family in attendance, and it will be conducted inconspicuously.
Since I’ve always shown myself living happily alone, I imagine this will come as quite a surprise.
When I first started YouTube, it was with the thought, “Let’s at least record this messy, chaotic, travel-like life of mine,” and now it’s already been nine years.
At some point, my daily life truly became a journey, and even in the difficult moments that everyone experiences, I found I could laugh them off by thinking, “This is also just a part of the journey.”
During that process, I happened to meet someone who made me feel freer and more comfortable.
Even in my unpredictable life, full of ups and downs, I became convinced that with this person, I could go further and enjoy it even more.
I still don’t know where or how my life will go from here, but…
I will continue to live in a way that follows where my heart flows.
While doing YouTube, I’ve been so grateful for the interest and support so many people have shown toward my small daily life.
At the same time, I felt cautious about sharing this kind of news,
so I ask for your understanding for the delay in telling you.
In the meantime, I’ve seen middle schoolers grow into full-fledged adults,
I’ve heard about people starting new families,
and I’ve had supporters who’ve cheered me on for years, even back when I had few subscribers.
Hearing these stories that make the passage of time feel real has often left me with a strange feeling.
I think it’s such a blessing to be able to share important moments in life with so many people.
I hope we can continue to cheer for each other and move forward together on this journey of life.
Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart.
Let’s be happy!!!
