Actress Yoon Eun Hye, recently praised for her performance with first-generation girl group Baby V.O.X, has been selected as a host for the upcoming '2024 MBC Broadcasting Entertainment Awards.'
According to OSEN’s report on the 20th, Yoon Eun Hye will serve as the sole female MC for the '2024 MBC Broadcasting Entertainment Awards' scheduled for the 28th. She will co-host the live broadcast alongside broadcaster Jun Hyun Moo and actor Lee Jang Woo, forming a trio of MCs for the event.
The 'MBC Entertainment Awards' celebrates MBC’s top entertainers who have excelled over the past year. Renowned figures such as Yoo Jae Suk, Jun Hyun Moo, Park Na Rae, and Kian 84 are strong contenders for awards this year, heightening anticipation for the event.
Originally, the 'MBC Entertainment Awards' was set to take place on the 29th of last month. However, the event was abruptly canceled that morning following the tragic accident involving a Jeju Air passenger flight. The cancellation was made in solidarity with the national mourning period. After the mourning period concluded and careful consideration of the situation, the event was rescheduled for the 28th, during the Lunar New Year holiday.
As part of the rescheduling process, actress Hyeri of Girl’s Day, who was initially set to host, had to cancel her participation due to prior filming commitments during the Lunar New Year period. Her agency confirmed that scheduling conflicts made it impossible for her to join the event. Subsequently, Yoon Eun Hye was offered the role of MC and gladly accepted.
Yoon Eun Hye recently received widespread acclaim for her performance with Baby V.O.X at the '2024 KBS Gayo Daechukje' on December 20th.
Building on this momentum, Yoon Eun Hye is also scheduled to appear on the MBC variety show 'Point of Omniscient Interfere', further solidifying her presence in the entertainment industry as she prepares to host the 'MBC Entertainment Awards.'
The newly rescheduled 'MBC Entertainment Awards' will air live on the 28th at 8:20 PM
