VVUP unveils complete four-member lineup with new addition Ji Yoon.
VVUP (Kim, Pan, Soo Yeon, Ji Yoon), hailed as a “global rookie,” revealed their new four-member lineup through two special videos on January 10th and 13th KST. The videos, released to commemorate the release of their special digital single ‘4 Life,’ introduced new member Ji Yoon to fans and expressed gratitude for their unwavering support. Born in 2008, Ji Yoon, the group’s youngest, is a multitalented addition excelling in vocals, dance, and acting.
The videos captured VVUP’s trip to Tokyo and Sapporo in Japan, radiating a cozy winter vibe. Ji Yoon, filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness, was warmly welcomed by the existing members. The fully-formed group bonded as they played in the snow, took pictures, and danced together. In one symbolic moment, they placed a padlock inscribed with “VVUP” on a railing, signifying their bright future as a team.
The videos also surprised viewers with a twist—locations initially shown with only three members were later revealed to have included Ji Yoon all along, blending a narrative of introduction with subtle storytelling.
On January 10th KST, VVUP released their special digital single ‘4 Life,’ marking their first foray into R&B. The song conveys the warmth and certainty of falling in love, wrapped in a modern and soothing soundscape.
