Hollywood actor Robert Pattinson will make a special appearance on SBS's popular entertainment program 'Running Man.'
According to Star News on the 20th, Robert Pattinson is currently in South Korea to promote director Bong Joon Ho's highly anticipated film 'Mickey 17.' After attending a footage preview and press conference at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul that morning, he was spotted exploring Seochon, attracting public attention.
The 'Running Man' production team and members happened to encounter Robert Pattinson while filming nearby. Although an appearance on the show was not part of his original schedule, the overlap led to his impromptu participation in the domestic entertainment program. After discussions, the production team decided to air the segment featuring Robert Pattinson, with the episode scheduled to broadcast on February 9th.
'Mickey 17' follows the story of Mickey, an "Expendable" created to perform dangerous tasks and reprinted each time he dies. The plot takes a twist as Mickey faces his 17th death crisis and another version, Mickey 18, is printed under the assumption that he is no longer alive. This marks director Bong Joon Ho's first film since the globally acclaimed 'Parasite' (2019) and has drawn significant attention worldwide. 'Mickey 17' will premiere in South Korea on February 28th before its global release.
