It has been reported that fitness YouTuber/bodybuilder Park Seung Hyun has passed away at the age of 35.
On January 6, Park Seung Hyun's older brother shared the news on the YouTuber's personal social media and his channel's community. He stated, "At 3:51 PM on January 5, 2025, my younger brother Seung Hyun passed away due to health issues."
He added, "Our parents are deeply heartbroken and will not be accepting visitors at the memorial. Please offer your condolences by praying for him to rest in peace."
Along with the message, Park Seung Hyun's brother posted a memorial portrait of the YouTuber.
Born in 1990, Park Seung Hyun was a fitness YouTuber and bodybuilder with 830,000 subscribers. He had been active, uploading YouTube videos until just five days before his passing, which made the news of his sudden death even more shocking.
Previously, Park Seung Hyun had admitted to using and selling illegal substances, receiving a suspended indictment in November 2019. Following this incident, he led an exposé campaign, the "Steroid Disclosure Movement," aimed at revealing the illegal use of substances within the bodybuilding and fitness industry.
Additionally, in October last year, after returning to activity following a 10-month hiatus, he uploaded a video where he revealed his struggle with depression. He stated, "I'm diligently taking the medication prescribed by the psychiatrist. My liveliness is fading, and I feel like I'm becoming a wreck. Many subscribers have stopped following me because of this."
