Kim Jongmin, a member of the mixed group 'Koyote,' is taking legal action against the unauthorized use of his image and false advertising.
On the 27th, his agency JG Star stated, "We recently discovered a company using Kim Jongmin's photos without permission to create false advertisements. We will gather relevant evidence and initiate legal action."
The agency further explained, "The company is exploiting Kim Jongmin's credibility and using it as a pretext to encourage investment. To prevent potential victims, we have decided to take strong legal measures."
They also issued a warning to the public, saying, "Please do not be deceived by false advertisements."
In recent times, numerous companies have been found illegally using celebrity images to produce misleading advertisements and lure investments.
Kim Jongmin, known for his singing career, has earned public trust through appearances on popular variety shows like KBS 2TV’s '2 Days & 1 Night' and SBS TV’s 'My Little Old Boy.' He is set to marry his fiancée, who is 11 years younger than him, this April.
