On the afternoon of the 20th, at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjingu, Seoul, the next-generation boy group KickFlip, under JYP Entertainment (JYP), held their debut showcase to celebrate the release of their first mini album Flip it, Kick it!
Kyehoon, the leader of the group, shared his thoughts on their debut."I’ve been waiting for this moment, and I’ve worked hard to get here. The seven of us have prepared diligently, and we’ll show you good vibes," adding, "We’ll work hard, so please support us."
KickFlip is a seven-member boy group composed of leader Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyun. Kyehoon, who joined JYP after ranking first in the 2016 JYP open audition, trained for nearly 10 years before debuting with KickFlip.
After the final member lineup was decided, they spent two years honing their skills together before their debut. True to their group name, which is inspired by the challenging 360-degree skateboarding flip, KickFlip aims to deliver new and bold performances without being bound by conventional standards.
KickFlip officially debuts on the 20th at 6 p.m. with their first mini album Flip it, Kick it!. With their debut just beginning, K-pop fans are excited to see what KickFlip will show them next. The group is set to begin their active promotions following their debut showcase.
