Actress Hojo Shin will star in the second season of the Netflix series 'XO, Kitty.'
"As a 'third culture child' (a term referring to people who grew up in two or more cultural backgrounds during childhood and growth), it is meaningful to join the new season of 'XO, Kitty,' a global production that respects various cultures and languages," Hojo shared through her agency, Just Entertainment.
She also shared her hopes of adding familiar yet fun and new to the global viewers through her character, raising expectations, "as 'XO, Kitty' is a work that goes beyond existing barriers and shows new possibilities."
Hojo has been acting in the US with her past projects, including 'Big Bet,' 'Good People,' 'Lily Chan & the Doom Girls,' and 'The Dead Girls Detective Agency,' among others.
'XO, Kitty' is a romantic comedy-drama series that depicts Kitty's journey to Korea to find true love, attending the same school as both her mother and her long-distance boyfriend. Its season 2 is scheduled for release on January 16th.
