On January 25, Yerin from GFriend (Girlfriend) shared the challenges of her solo activities, revealing that her gums get 'completely dry' from having to sing all the parts during her solo performances.

Appearing as a guest on tvN’s 'Amazing Saturday,' Yerin joined the cast for a fun round of dictation. Alongside members SinB and Umji, Yerin opened up about her solo journey and reflected on her group activities with GFriend.

Currently celebrating their 10th anniversary, GFriend has returned as a full group after a four-year hiatus. Looking back on her solo work, Yerin explained, “When I was in the group, I could rest my voice after my part was over. But now, I have to sing non-stop, and my gums get so dry.” 

She went on to say, “I didn’t realize how precious my members are until now, especially after experiencing the difference between solo work and group activities.”

While monitoring Yerin's performance, SinB noticed her unconsciously rubbing her gums with her tongue. SinB sent her a message during the performance, saying, “Sister, stop doing that on stage!”

Yerin admitted, “I didn’t even remember doing it, but SinB texted me saying, 'Stop doing that on stage!' Apparently, my mouth was twitching without me realizing it.” Laughing, she added, “Now that I’m back with the group, I really feel the value of having my members by my side.”

During the same episode, rapper Hanhae confessed his continued admiration for GFriend, leading to a playful exchange with Yerin. When Hanhae emphasized, “It’s still going on! It’s current!” Yerin was both surprised and amused, wiping the sweat from her forehead and causing everyone to burst into laughter.
