Chef Yoon Nam No, known for his appearance in 'Culinary Class Wars' as "Cooking Maniac", has expressed outrage at brokers reselling reservations for his restaurant.
On January 2, Chef Yoon Nam No took to his personal social media to issue a stern warning stating, "This is driving me crazy, and I'm about to lose it." With his warning, Chef Yoon also included images of the reservation spots up for sale.
The images revealed multiple listings of reservation transfers for the restaurant where he serves as the head chef. Brokers had reportedly pre-booked prime lunch and dinner hours during peak weekends, later reselling these reservations to the public for personal profit.
Chef Yoon Nam No's restaurant isn't the only one facing this issue. Similar cases have occurred with restaurants led by well-known chefs including Choi Hyun Seok, Chef David Lee (Meat Master), and Chef Kang Seung Won (Triple Star), all from 'Culinary Class Wars.'
Chef Yoon didn't hold back his frustration and continued to warn, "Stop before I reveal your real names and phone numbers. I'm really on the verge of losing it." He further expressed, "I won't stay silent anymore. Even my family and close friends are unable to make reservations because of this situation. Brokers are making things extremely difficult. I will seek them out. If I catch anyone doing this again, I will publicly share their name and phone number through posts and stories."
