Baek Seo Hoo has been named the winner of the 'Rookie Male Actor of 2025' category in the '2025 Korea First Brand Awards', as announced by the Korea Consumer Forum on January 7th.

Celebrating its 23rd anniversary, the 'Korea First Brand Awards' is the nation’s largest brand awards ceremony. Each year, it recognizes the most promising brands expected to lead the upcoming year through an extensive consumer survey.

Baek Seo Hoo captured viewers' attention last year with his role as Go Won in JTBC’s drama 'Miss Night and Day'. Starring alongside Eunji and Lee Jung Eun showcased a compelling romance that transcended age. 

This performance earned him critical acclaim, culminating in the Rookie Award at the 15th Korea Drama Awards. Now, with the '2025 Korea First Brand Awards', he adds another prestigious title to his growing list of accolades.

In his acceptance speech, Baek Seo-hoo expressed his gratitude, saying, “It’s such an honor to receive this meaningful Rookie Award. I’m incredibly thankful to Director Lee Hyung Min for giving me such a great opportunity. I’m also deeply grateful to senior actors Lee Jung Eun, Jung Eunji, and Choi Jin Hyuk,as well as the amazing staff who supported me like friends on set. Thanks to them, Go Won truly shined.”

He added, “Playing Go Won taught me so much, and I had an incredibly happy time. I promise to never forget this gratitude and to work even harder to repay it through better performances.”
