According to media outlet reports on January 9 KST, the '2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon' will air during the Lunar New Year holidays, from January 29-30. 

Originally, the 'MBC Gayo Daejejeon' airs every year on December 31 KST and includes a countdown into the New Year. However, in light of the Jeju Air tragedy and the designation of a national mourning period from December 29 until January 4 KST, the year-end music festival broadcast was postponed.

Now, it has been decided that part one of the '2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon' will air beginning on January 29 at 5:30 PM KST. Part two will air beginning on January 30 at 5:30 PM KST. 

Hosted by Girls' Generation's YoonA, SHINee's Minho, and TWS's Dohoon, the '2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon' will feature performances by aespa, ATEEZ, BOYNEXTDOOR, DAY6, ENHYPEN, Fantasy Boys, fromis_9, (G)I-DLE, ITZY, IVE, izna, Lee Chan Won, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, NCT WISH, NewJeans, PLAVE, RIIZE, Stray Kids, Taemin of SHINee, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, TWS, Youngtak, ZEROBASEONE, and more.
