On the December 13 broadcast of JTBC's ongoing idol audition program 'Project 7', the surviving contestants went against one another in the third round, the 'Original Match'. 

For this round, the surviving 35 contestants formed teams of 7 member each and were assigned to songs written and produced only for 'Project 7'. In addition to preparing an original stage for the round, all five teams recorded the five original songs. The five songs will be released by 'Project 7' on December 14 at 12 PM KST.

First, the "Time After Time" team made up of Shin Jae Won, Bing Hua, Oh Tae Hwan, Wu Chenyu, Woo Ha Joon, Yoo Young Seo, and Lee Han Bin delivered an emotional stage, showcasing their strong vocals and beautiful harmony. 

Next, team "Breaking News" with members Kang Min Seo, Kang Hyun Woo, Kwon Yong Hyun, Abe Yura, Asaka Kotaro, Ahn Jun Won, and Yoo Ji Ahn stunned audiences with their charismatic, synchronized performance.

Third, team "KOOL-AID" featuring Kim Si Hoon, Kim Jeong Min, Kim Joo Hyun, Kim Jun Woo, Lee Gun Woo, Chae Hee Ju, and Fong Atilla garnered attention for a confident and energetic performance, despite unrest among the members in the beginning. 

Meanwhile, team "Trigger", home to contestants Kim Hyun Woo, Lynn Lynn, Ma Jing Xiang, Park Jun Seo, Yi Chen, Jang Yeo Joon, and Jeon Min Wook, tore up the stage with their sexy and impactful stage.

On the other hand, the "Merry-Go-Round" team with members Kim Seong Min, Nam Ji Woon, Sakurada Kenshin, Seo Kyung Bae, Song Seung Ho, Andy, and Jung Se Yoon made fans' hearts melt with their romantic performance in all-pink outfits, earning praise for their cute and lovely charms. 

After all five teams successfully wrapped up their stages, MC Lee Soo Hyuk announced the results of the third round, determined by the votes of the live audience members. The team that received the most votes and claimed the #1 spot was the "Merry-Go-Round" team, meaning that all 7 members of the team received an additional 10% of their individual votes from the third global voting round. Team "Trigger" ranked in 2nd place, team "Breaking News" in 3rd, team "Time After Time" in 4th, and team "KOOL-AID" came in last place. 

Additionally, MC Lee Soo Hyuk revealed that the #1 ranked contestant of each team would also receive a major benefit, 50,000 points. The #1 ranked contestant from each team were: Kim Jeong Min, Woo Ha Joon, Ahn Jun Won, Ma Jing Xiang, and Song Seung Ho. The results came as a shock to the 'Project 7' contestants, who were convinced that Jeon Min Wook, Sakurada Kenshin, and Yoo Young Seo would continue to defend their #1 spots from past competition rounds. 

Next week on 'Project 7', the contestants will face elimination or survival during the third elimination. Tune in on December 20 at 8:50 PM KST.
