In celebration of the release of their 14th mini album ‘Strategy’, TWICE recently appeared on the KBS show ‘The Seasons—Lee Young-ji’s Rainbow.’ The legendary girl group presented an exciting medley of performances, including their hit songs ‘YES or YES,’ ‘What is Love,’ ‘Cheer Up,’ and more. They also performed a special version of their newest title track, ‘Strategy.’
In the interview segment, TWICE shared a few stories from the group’s long history since debut. Host Lee Young-ji started the interview by asking, “It's already been 10 years since your debut. I think you've all spent more time with each other than your families at this point. How did you all get through thick and thin together?”
Dahyun answered, "Even if we don't say anything, just being next to each other gives us support."
When Lee Young-ji asked about conflict, Momo surprised everyone by saying, "We really don't fight."
However, Nayeon immediately disagreed, saying, "We do fight," and causing the audience to burst into laughter. Nayeon elaborated: "We have fought. We have had our differences of opinion. But I think fighting makes us stronger."
Jihyo explained the secret to maintaining their current chemistry, stating, "We say everything we want to say. We talk a lot in group chats."
She also spoke again about her now-famous fistfight with Jeongyeon, mentioning: “Jeongyeon and I fought when we were trainees." Jihyo had previously revealed the details of the intense fight between herself and Jeongyeon, saying that she had pushed Jeongyeon and even punched the wall. Jihyo ultimately revealed that neither of them could even remember what the fight had been about, and that their friendship was stronger than ever now.
TWICE followed the interview with a stunning performance of their new song ‘Strategy,’ which you can check out here:
