The K-pop group THE NEW SIX (TNX) has officially returned to their original name, signaling a fresh chapter for the group and their fans.
On December 4, P NATION issued a statement confirming the decision:
"Hello, this is P NATION.
First and foremost, we’d like to express our gratitude to THX for your unwavering support and encouragement.
As a company, we, alongside the members, are working diligently to prepare for their upcoming activities as a team.
To reflect the strong will of the five members to unite with their fans, we have decided that the team will move forward under the name ‘TNX.’
Starting today, December 4, the group will officially begin their new chapter as ‘TNX.’ We kindly ask for your continued support as TNX embarks on this exciting journey.
Thank you."
TNX was originally formed through SBS’s 2021 survival program LOUD and debuted under P NATION, quickly gaining recognition for their talent and dynamic performances.
On their first anniversary, May 17, 2023, the group announced a temporary rebranding to THE NEW SIX for promotional purposes. However, after over a year, they’ve chosen to revert to TNX to better represent their identity and unity.
Recently, TNX showcased their skills on Mnet’s boy group competition program Road to Kingdom: ACE OF ACE, earning praise for their impressive performances. As they reclaim their original name and prepare for a new phase, fans eagerly await what TNX has in store.
