Son Dam-bi has announced the gender of her child.
On the 18th, Son Dam-bi shared a video titled "Finally revealed! Tta-bong's gender? Gender Reveal Party" on her YouTube channel 'Dambison'.
In the video, Son Dam-bi said, "Today is finally the day to reveal Tta-bong's (our baby's nickname) gender," adding, "My husband didn't realize I was pregnant at first because I didn't experience morning sickness or any noticeable symptoms. But now I'm 21 weeks along, and my belly is showing quite a bit, so it's becoming more noticeable."
She asked her husband, Lee Kyu-hyuk, "Would you prefer a daughter or a son?" Lee Kyu-hyuk responded, "I'd prefer a son. I feel like I could raise him easily and let him grow freely. I also have this romantic dream of dressing him in matching outfits when we go out."
Son Dam-bi laughed and said, "They say the first daughter often resembles her father, and the first son resembles the mother. Imagine your daughter being a mini version of your brother." Lee Kyu-hyuk replied, "I hope she resembles you more visually."
The couple then opened a prepared box, and a pink balloon floated out, revealing they were expecting a daughter. Son Dam-bi said, "Everyone, it's a girl! I really thought it would be a boy, but I was wrong."
When Lee Kyu-hyuk remarked, "If she's like a son, she'll resemble me a lot," Son Dam-bi playfully responded, "No." Lee Kyu-hyuk added, "I don’t mind either way. I'm happy and grateful. I’m so thrilled she’s my daughter, and I hope she resembles me a little."
Son Dam-bi expressed her joy, saying, "I was so happy the moment I found out she was a girl. I’m grateful to share this news with everyone, and I’ll do my best to take care of Tta-bong until the day she’s born."
She concluded, "If I had a wish, it would be for her to inherit all the good traits from my brother, who is a better person than I am. Regardless, I’ll do my best to raise her well."
