Seo Dong-wook, a former member of the duo 'Exhibition' (Juhn-lahm-hwe) alongside singer Kim Dong-ryul, has passed away.
On the 18th, it was reported that Seo Dong-wook, who was serving as Vice President of Morgan Stanley Korea Private Equity, passed away at the age of 50 due to a chronic illness.
The funeral will take place at the funeral hall of Severance Hospital in Sinchon. The service is scheduled for 11:40 AM on the 20th.
Exhibition was a South Korean male duo active from 1993 to 1997. They debuted by winning the grand prize and special prize for their song 'In a Dream' at the MBC 'University Song Festival'. The group consisted of Kim Dong-ryul as the main vocalist and pianist, and Seo Dong-wook as the sub-vocalist and bassist.
Although Exhibition disbanded after releasing their third album, they left behind several hit songs, including 'Memory Practice', 'Graduation', and 'Drunken Truth'.
After Exhibition ended its activities, Seo Dong-wook retired from singing and pursued a career in business, ultimately becoming a prominent figure in the financial sector.
