Comedian and radio DJ Park Myung Soo addressed the ongoing political situation involving protests following the declaration of martial law situation and the impeachment of the president, offering heartfelt advice to listeners on his show.
During the December 12 broadcast of KBS Cool FM's Park Myung Soo's Radio Show, the DJ engaged with his audience, hosting a segment where he provided solutions to their dilemmas.
One listener submitted a question about attire for an upcoming year-end party. "I’m debating whether to wear a bold tube-top dress that’s tight-fitting and exposes my shoulders, like a celebrity or to go for a more modest option," the listener wrote.
In response, Park Myung Soo advised caution, reflecting the tense political climate. "Wearing something flashy might not sit well given the current atmosphere. It’s best to keep things quiet and uneventful during this time of year. Standing out might make you a target," he said. "People might even question your judgment, saying, 'Did they really think this through?'"
He further suggested a compromise: "You can wear the tube-top dress, but make sure to drape a shawl over it. That’s the best option. The last thing you want is to draw unnecessary attention."
Park also elaborated, saying, "Imagine someone saying, 'What’s with that outfit in this kind of situation? Are they out of their mind?' That’s not something you’d want to hear, right?" His advice struck a chord with listeners navigating the balance between personal expression and societal sensitivities.
