Following the reports, Nana's agency, Sublime Artist Agency, released a statement explaining, "It is challenging to confirm matters related to the actor's private life." This latest statement from the agency further solidified speculations that the two are dating in real life.
On the same day, Korean netizens took to various online communities to share their observations that the two often shared photos from similar locations around the same time.
