MONSTA X’s I.M delivers martial law breaking news during live radio broadcast.

On the evening of December 3rd KST, MONSTA X member I.M grabbed fans’ attention by delivering the news of President Yoon Suk Yeol’s martial law declaration during the live broadcast of KBS CoolFM’s 'MONSTA X I.M’s Kiss the Radio'.

Kiss the Radio, which airs daily from 10 PM to midnight, overlapped with President Yoon’s emergency public address announcing martial law, which began around 10:30 PM that evening.

I.M informed listeners, saying, “Breaking news: President Yoon Suk-yeol has declared martial law this evening,” in a serious tone. Listeners reacted with astonishment, commenting, “An idol delivering martial law breaking news is something I never expected,” and “This might be a first in history—getting martial law news from an idol.”

Earlier that night, President Yoon declared martial law during an emergency public broadcast, stating, “Through this martial law, I will rebuild and protect the free Republic of Korea, which is on the verge of collapse.”
