LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin has decided to delay the release of her self-composed song 'Jellyfish' following the tragic Jeju Air crash.
On December 30th, her agency Source Music announced, “The release of Huh Yunjin’s self-composed song 'Jellyfish,' originally scheduled for 6 PM today, has been postponed due to yesterday’s heartbreaking accident.”
They added, “We kindly ask for the understanding of fans who have been waiting for the release. We express our deepest condolences to the victims of the crash and offer our heartfelt sympathies to their grieving families.”
On the morning of December 29th, Jeju Air flight 7C2216, traveling from Bangkok to Muan International Airport, crashed into the runway's outer wall during landing. Of the 181 passengers onboard, 179 tragically lost their lives, with only two survivors. The South Korean government has declared a seven-day national mourning period, ending on January 4th, 2025.
