KBS will be holding its first ever '2024 Countdown Show: LIGHT NOW', an outdoor New Year's Eve celebration featuring a countdown to the New Year.
The event will be held in two locations - SHINSEGAE SQUARE in Myeongdong and the outdoor plaza outside Seoul Central Post Office - and aims to become South Korea's version of the famous countdown celebration, 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve', held in Times Square, New York City.
The event will feature a diverse lineup of musicians from all genres, including J.Y. Park, Byul, 2AM, Jannabi, Stella Jang, Choi Yu Ree, Xdinary Heroes, Kep1er, Xikers, ALL(H)OURS, NOWADAYS, BADVILLAIN, and SAY MY NAME. The grand countdown will be held on the massive LED screen at SHINSEGAE SQUARE, followed by a fireworks show.
'2024 Countdown Show: LIGHT NOW' kicks off on December 31 at 11 PM KST on KBS2, also available for live streaming on YouTube.
