On December 20, renowned South Korean actor Jung Hae In returned to Manila, Philippines one year and four months after his '10TH SEASON' fan meeting in August 2023. This time, the actor held a press conference a day before of his 'OUR TIME' fan meeting on December 21 at the New Frontier Theater. "I came back here to the Philippines. I'm so happy to be here. I appreciate everyone who came," he greeted the media and the audience.

"Whenever I come here, it's really nice. I like it so much. Thank you for your warm welcome as always," Hae In said when asked what keeps him coming back to the country. "I want to go also to Manila Bay and eat some very delicious food."

Talking about the concluded hit drama he starred in, 'Love Next Door,' Hae In shared that he didn't expect the rom-com series would receive such warm attention when they were filming it. "We did our very best without any expectation," he added.

allkpop then asked what steps he took to effectively play his role, Choi Seung Hyo: "I actually don't know how to swim. For 'Love Next Door,' I especially trained to learn how to swim. I'm not afraid of the water anymore," Hae In shared.

Hae In admitted that selecting a favorite among his past roles was not easy, but he eventually chose Choi Seung Hyo.

He also said that he enjoys doing romantic comedies, but asked everyone to also support his other projects aside from the genre.

On his criteria when picking characters to play, one important factor for Hae In is for him to imagine himself doing that role. "I draw it out in my head if I can do it."

Now that 2024 is nearing its end, Hae In revealed his goal for 2025, which is still the same as his goal in 2024: to remain healthy. "Sometimes we cannot avoid being injured physically or mentally. If it does happen, I hope it will not be severe. I hope everyone's goal should always be to put their health as the main priority," he added.

The day after, Hae In finally held his anticipated solo 'OUR TIME' fan meeting. "'Our Time' means that although we hold the fan meeting annually, today, we are having our time together," he said. 

"Yesterday, I was surprised. I didn't expect that amount of crowd," he added, saying that he was thankful to have received such amazing cheers, both during the press conference and the fan meeting proper.

The actor also revealed during one of the segments that he has been getting messages on facial bloating. "A tip when you have a swollen face, do cardio in the morning with empty stomach. I also drink a specific tea," he shared.

When asked about which series was the most challenging for him, Hae In answered 'Veteran 2' "because of all the action scenes."

Hae In further elevated the fun with show highlights that included his attempt to make "mais con yelo (sweet corn dessert)" for two lucky fans, a teddy bear gift and a chance to take a photo with him on stage. Other lucky attendees of the night also got the chance to bring home Dior products, a signed polaroid, and a handwritten letter from the actor.

The actor then serenaded the audience with his performances of "Good Night Good Dream" and "Until I Found You," revealing his liking for the latter's musical genre.
