The '2024 KBS Song Festival Global Festival' (hereinafter referred to as 'Song Festival') promises a spectacular showcase of unprecedented collaborations that transcend generations.
Scheduled to air on the 20th, this year’s 'Song Festival' embraces the theme of infinity, connecting K-pop musicians across different eras through music. Alongside this year’s shining K-pop stars, legendary artists like Jinusean, Bada, Baby V.O.X, and Koo Jun-yeop will join the stage, creating special performances that bridge generations.
One of the highlights will be a collaborative stage featuring Jinusean, MCs IVE’s Jang Won-young, and BOYNEXTDOOR. Jang Won-young will pay homage to the iconic Uhm Jung-hwa, showcasing unique chemistry with Jinusean.
Meanwhile, Boynextdoor will deliver a dynamic hip-hop performance alongside Jinusean, embodying a harmonious blend of generations. Another MC, actor Kim Young-dae, will showcase his vocal talent for the first time on television through a collaboration with ENHYPEN's Heeseung.
Baby V.O.X is creating a buzz with their first full-group stage in 14 years. Adding to the excitement, they will team up with the rising girl-crush group Kiss of Life, amplifying the girl group power on stage.
NCT Mark will unveil his new song 'Fraktsiya (Feat. Lee Young-ji)' for the first time on TV. Additionally, fans can look forward to a special stage featuring ENHYPEN's Jungwon & Jay, (G)I-DLE's Miyeon, IVE’s Liz, and Boynextdoor's Sungho.
Another much-anticipated performance is a heartwarming collaboration between Yoon Soo-il, the original singer of 'Apartment', and Rosé, whose reinterpretation 'APT.' has captivated global K-pop fans.
The event will be hosted by a trio of MCs: singer Zico, IVE’s Jang Won-young, and actor Kim Young-dae. Confirmed performers include NCT (127/DREAM), ENHYPEN, aespa, (G)I-DLE, IVE, BOYNEXTDOOR, Lee Chan-won, Jang Min-ho, Young Tak, Lee Young-ji, P1Harmony, ONEUS, Kep1er, CRAVITY, Kiss of Life, tripleS, UNIS, Jinusean, Bada, Baby V.O.X, and Koo Jun-yeop.
