"I started acting because of Taeyeon," Kang Hoon gets his fanboy wish to come true and finally meets Taeyeon

On the December 21 episode of tvN’s 'Amazing Saturday,' rising stars Kang Hoon, Song Geon Hee, and Yoo Seon Ho appeared as guests to participate in the show’s signature challenge.
The cast of 'Amazing Saturday' welcomed their guests with enthusiasm and attention was particularly directed toward actor Kang Hoon, who had been long known to be a dedicated 'Taeyeon fanboy.'
Kang Hoon shyly greeted the camera multiple times, exuding charm, and expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s an honor to be here. I’ve always wanted to come on 'Amazing Saturday'.”
Host Boom heightened the anticipation, saying, “The moment has finally come. This is like a Christmas gift completing the drama of their lives.” As the tension built, both Kang Hoon and Taeyeon struggled to make eye contact with each other.
Just as Kang Hoon had been confessing in previous shows, he once again shared his deep admiration for Taeyeon, revealing, “The reason I started acting was because of Taeyeon. I began acting so I could someday meet her. Today is truly a dream come true.”
Kang Hoon addressed Taeyeon, who was covering her face in embarrassment, saying, “I was a huge fan of Girls’ Generation back then, and I admired you so much. It’s thanks to you that I became an actor, and I’m incredibly grateful.” Taeyeon responded warmly, saying, “I really wanted to meet you too. Hearing your kind words on broadcasts meant so much to me.”
Seeing the interaction, the cast jokingly remarked, “Let’s end the show here,” “Pop the champagne!” and “Bring in the parents, and let’s have a formal meeting!” adding humor to the heartfelt moment.
Throughout the show, the two show flirty chemistry, and Kang Hoon even makes a bold confession, saying, "Taeyeon Nuna, do you like younger men?" sending the cast into a frenzy.
