On the latest episode of the music variety show ‘Moving Voices’ in Germany, singer Henry reveals that he wrote the song “It’s You” for singer and actress Suzy.
Henry states that the song was requested for the original soundtrack of the 2017 drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’, which starred Suzy and Lee Jong Suk. He received footage of the drama, and cheekily mentions that he watched her face all the time for inspiration, and that was how he came up with the beautiful melody.
After the introduction, Henry becomes shy, expressing that it might be awkward singing the song for her in person, cracking every up. Suzy also burst out laughing from his playfully exaggerated words and gestures before he began the song, as he screamed out Suzy’s name and stated, “Oppa’s about to sing.”
