On the 18th, a video titled "(G)I-DLE's So-yeon, who really renewed her contract after hearing Lee Yong-jin's words, got a tarot reading?" was uploaded to Lee Yong-jin's YouTube channel.
In the video, Jeon So-yeon asked Lee Yong-jin about the compatibility between the members of (G)I-DLE and inquired, "How much longer will our team be together?" After checking the tarot cards, Lee Yong-jin said, "You can stay together until you're 31," leaving Jeon So-yeon surprised as she exclaimed, "What?"
This response resonated with the members’ prior conversations about continuing as a team until the age of 31. When asked by Lee Yong-jin if they experience fights or disagreements, Jeon So-yeon candidly shared, "We fight every day. We yell at each other. I think I'm the toughest among the members," drawing attention with her honesty.
Jeon So-yeon then asked Lee Yong-jin, "Will I ever get married?" Lee Yong-jin replied, "You're not thinking about marriage now, are you?" to which she responded, "No, but I want to live in tune with my age someday."
The tarot cards revealed that marriage was possible for her. When Jeon So-yeon asked about specific timing, such as between the ages of 31 and 33, Lee Yong-jin predicted, "It's difficult. Even 35 is hard. You might manage it before 40."
Lee Yong-jin was surprised when Jeon So-yeon even asked about the gender of her future children. He commented, "So you're interested? I guess you have some thoughts about marriage and children." Jeon So-yeon explained, "I do have those thoughts. Work is important, but if it’s time for me to die, I’d like to have a family."
She revealed her ideal type as "a person who has no ambition, is moderately satisfied, and pursues happiness. Someone very ordinary, but a good person to everyone."
Jeon So-yeon also reflected on her financial perspective, previously sharing on Lee Young-ji’s YouTube channel, "If I do well, I can earn 1 billion won a month," due to copyright income. Lee Yong-jin asked, "What if you can’t make money?" Jeon So-yeon replied, "It’s okay if I can’t. I don’t mind not having any at all. I prefer people who earn money honestly rather than those who rely on unearned income or risky investments," drawing admiration.
Lee Yong-jin predicted her journey to find the right partner, saying, "You will meet that kind of man, but it will take time. That’s why you might get married at 40. Finding someone who fits your criteria is rare, so the selection process will naturally take time."
Jeon So-yeon seemed pleased with the explanation, expressing her gratitude by saying, "This place gives really good relationship counseling."
