According to TikTok's 'Year on TikTok 2024' report released on December 5, ENHYPEN (composed of Jungwon, Heeseung, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-Ki, Jake, and Jay) earned the title of 'Top Artist' in the global category, marking the highest ranking ever for a K-pop group. The group also claimed the number one spot in Korea's 'Top Artist' category, solidifying their massive popularity. These rankings were determined based on video views from the artists' official TikTok accounts.
ENHYPEN generated a lot of buzz earlier in the year by unexpectedly releasing a video featuring the audio and performance of their title track 'XO (Only If You Say Yes)' before releasing their second full-length album 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD'. The video posted on TikTok has garnered over 12 million views. Additionally, various TikTok content including the challenge video for the title track 'No Doubt' from their repackage album 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD' - day dream, dance covers, skits showcasing the members' fun personalities, and trend-based content have attracted significant attention from fans.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN connects with their Japanese fans through broadcasts and live performances. On December 4, they appeared on Fuji TV’s year-end special 2024 FNS Music Festival, delivering a special stage performance of 'Polaroid Love' from their first full-length album repackage. The members performed in a holiday-themed Universal Studios Japan, accompanied by popular characters such as Minions, Snoopy, and Elmo, adding to the festive atmosphere. "Polaroid Love" had previously made waves in 2022 by topping real-time charts on major Korean music sites and entering Spotify’s 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart.
ENHYPEN's world tour WALK THE LINE continues with upcoming shows in Japan. After a successful concert at Belluna Dome on November 9-10, the group will perform at Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 28-29, and Osaka’s Kyocera Dome on January 25-26, 2025. This marks a K-pop boy group record for the fastest three-city dome tour.
