JYP’s band DAY6 is proving their status as a 'trendsetting band' by collaborating with G-Dragon in an upcoming variety show.

According to an exclusive report by Xports News on the 13th, DAY6 will appear in Kim Tae Ho’s new variety show, tentatively titled 'GD and Friends'.

The show, 'GD and Friends', marks a collaboration between G-Dragon and PD Kim Tae Ho, known for creating synergy through G-Dragon's music and humor on past programs like Infinite Challenge. 

This reunion is drawing attention as fans anticipate the new kind of influence this partnership will generate. The show is currently under positive consideration for broadcast on MBC. The title 'GD and Friends' is also competing with 'Good Day' as a possible name for the program.

Expectations are high for the show's cast lineup. Big names such as Kim Soo Hyun, Hwang Jung Min, Im Si Wan, Kim Go Eun, and Jung Hae In have already been reported, alongside idol stars like aespa and SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi. Amid this star-studded roster, DAY6, one of the hottest bands right now, is expected to create remarkable synergy with G-Dragon, adding to the anticipation.

DAY6, celebrated for their numerous hit songs and musical talent, has also demonstrated excellent humor and charm on variety shows. Their participation in 'GD and Friends' is expected to showcase their personalities and solidify their presence as a variety of show gems.

Meanwhile, DAY6 recently wrapped up their third world tour, 'Forever Young', which began in September, creating unforgettable memories with their global fanbase, My Day. Proving their immense popularity across the globe, the band is set to hold a solo concert, in 2024 DAY6  Special Concert - The Present, on December 20 and 21 at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome.
