Jang Bum Joon of Busker Busker has announced the cancellation and postponement of several concerts in response to the recent martial law declaration by President Yoon Suk Yeol.
According to Daily Sports’ report on December 6, Jang decided to alter his concert schedule following the political turmoil surrounding the impeachment vote against President Yoon. While some performances have been canceled outright, others will be rescheduled.

"Performances are truly valuable and joyful experiences. However, due to various circumstances, we’ve decided to temporarily pause and take some time to reorganize until the situation stabilizes.
We hope to resolve this by the end of the year.To those who booked tickets for next week’s shows, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
We appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into planning your schedules.We promise to reschedule the concert within this year and will announce the updated dates as soon as possible.
For those who wish to request a refund, rest assured that you may do so anytime, even after new dates are set. We guarantee a full refund.

On his Instagram, Jang expressed his regrets, stating, "I will be taking a moment to pause performances and take time to reorganize. I sincerely apologize to those who had planned their schedules around next week’s concerts."
Specifically, concerts originally scheduled for December 11 and 12 have been postponed, while those set for December 18 and 19 have been canceled. Jang reassured fans, saying, "For those seeking refunds, I will offer 100% refunds at any time, even after new dates are announced."
He also urged fans to stay informed and supportive, adding, "Please stay updated with the news and, if possible, let’s support each other through these challenging times."
The crisis unfolded when President Yoon declared emergency martial law late on the night of December 3. By the early hours of the following day, 190 lawmakers defied martial law forces to attend the National Assembly and passed a resolution demanding its repeal, rendering the declaration ineffective.
This political upheaval has also disrupted entertainment programming, with dramas and variety shows being postponed and replaced with special news coverage.
A vote on the impeachment motion against President Yoon is scheduled for December 7.
