BOYNEXTDOOR confirms January comeback with ‘I LOVE YOU’.
BOYNEXTDOOR has officially confirmed their comeback for the new year. On December 16th KST, KOZ Entertainment revealed the comeback artwork through their official social media, announcing the group’s new single ‘I LOVE YOU’, set for release on January 6th.
The artwork features an emotional illustration with the song title and various depictions of a boy’s introspective moments – playing the guitar, blowing soap bubbles, and sitting thoughtfully in a bathtub – increasing curiosity about the upcoming single.
A representative from KOZ Entertainment shared, “This comeback was made possible by the strong determination of the members. It’s their way of expressing gratitude to those who showed love this year.”
BOYNEXTDOOR recently held their first solo tour, 'KNOCK ON Vol.1', on December 14th and 15th, where they teased the release of their new single, eliciting an enthusiastic response from their fandom, 'ONEDOOR'. The group explained, “We were determined to make a comeback in January for our ONEDOOR. We’ve worked hard to prepare this.”
The representative added, “Despite their busy schedules preparing for year-end performances and solo tours, the members have prepared a surprise gift for their fans.”
BOYNEXTDOOR solidified their position domestically and internationally this year, achieving significant milestones. Their third mini-album, ‘19.99’, released in September, marked their first million-seller, while the group also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 40. They topped achievements as a 5th-generation K-pop group by ranking 33rd on Billboard Japan’s year-end Hot Albums chart.
