YG Entertainment’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER will cap off the year with their debut performance at a year-end music show.

According to YG Entertainment, on December 10 KST, BABYMONSTER will perform at the ‘2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon,’ held on December 25 at Incheon Inspire Arena. They will showcase a special band version of “DRIP,” one of the double title tracks from their first full album 'DRIP.'

The group’s performance, featuring a newly arranged sound and choreography, is highly anticipated. YG Entertainment stated, “We’ve prepared a special stage to thank the fans who supported us throughout our debut year in 2024. The powerful performance and energy will heat up the year-end stage.”

The event will also feature a reunion with their senior labelmates. 2NE1, who recently confirmed their first ‘Gayo Daejeon’ appearance in 10 years, is set to perform. The two YG girl groups, who previously showcased their chemistry at 2NE1’s 15th-anniversary concert in Seoul, will share the stage again for the year-end show, further raising expectations.

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is set to release the music video for their follow-up track “Love In My Heart” from 'DRIP' on December 16. Additionally, they will appear on Japanese music shows, TV Asahi’s 'Music Station' on December 27 and TBS’s 'CDTV Live! Live!' on December 28, connecting with global fans to close out the year.

Building on this momentum, the group will kick off their first world tour on January 25-26 at Seoul’s KSPO Dome. As a rookie K-pop girl group, their rapid ascent to performing at KSPO Dome highlights their growing prominence. The tour will continue in major cities, including New Jersey and Los Angeles in the United States, as well as Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka in Japan, as they expand their global reach.
