The older sister of actress Sunwoo Eun Sook, identified as 'A,' has come forward to reveal that she was sexually assaulted multiple times by broadcaster Yoo Young Jae. Sunwoo Eun Sook married Yoo Young Jae in 2022 but they got divorced earlier this year.

On December 10, the 3rd Criminal Division of the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Court held the second trial for Yoo Young Jae, who faces charges of forcible molestation by a family member under the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes. 'A' appeared in court as a witness.

During her testimony, 'A' revealed the details of the most serious incident of sexual misconduct she experienced from Yoo Young Jae. She stated, "That day, it was the most severe form of sexual assault I had experienced. My younger sister (Sunwoo Eun Sook) had a schedule as a golf panelist where she would stay overnight at various golf clubs once a month. On that day, Yoo Young Jae was sleeping, and my sister asked me the day before, ‘At 10 AM, please wake Yoo Young Jae up and prepare his breakfast.’" 

She continued, "When 10 AM arrived and he still hadn't come out, I knocked on the door. He was sitting on the bed, naked, and told me to ‘come in.’ He had covered his front parts with a towel he always carried around. I told him, ‘Are you crazy? Get out of there and eat.’ I then left the room. After that, he followed me out. He wasn’t wearing a top and was wearing thin, loose-fitting, short silk boxer shorts on the bottom. He stood there holding the kitchen door with one hand and, with his other hand, he lifted up his penis and testicles, saying, ‘For a man in his 60s, isn’t this still pretty good?’ I was so shocked I almost fainted. I shouted, ‘Put your clothes on right now! What kind of behavior is this?!’"

'A' continued her testimony, describing an even more disturbing incident: "I thought he was going to put on some shorts, but instead, he came up behind me and hugged me tightly. It was the morning, so I was wearing cotton pants, but I could feel something pressing into me from behind. I kicked him away and said, ‘No one knew who Yoo Young Jae was in the past. But since you married Sunwoo Eun Sook, you’re constantly seen following her around. You need to be careful about your behavior. This is sexual assault. I am your sister-in-law. What are you doing? If you act like this outside, Sunwoo Eun Sook's 45 years of hard-earned reputation and honor will be destroyed in an instant. Sunwoo Eun Sook is far more famous than Yoo Young Jae, so everything will be over for you if this becomes public.’ I scolded him severely and went into my room."

Yoo Young Jae is accused of forcibly sexually molesting 'A' on at least five separate occasions since 2023. During police and prosecution investigations, Yoo Young Jae denied all allegations, claiming he had never engaged in such acts. Despite his denial, prosecutors determined that there was sufficient evidence and filed charges against him without detention on October 18.

At the first trial on November 12, Yoo Young Jae pleaded not guilty, stating, "I did not forcibly molest 'A'." He later defended himself via his YouTube channel, "DJ Yoo Young Jae TV Yoo Young Jae Radio," saying, "They have falsely framed me as a sex offender with a charge that will follow me even after death. If I die like this, it will be remembered as if the false accusations were true, so I have decided to fight this legal battle."

Sunwoo Eun Sook and Yoo Young Jae legally registered their marriage in October 2022, officially becoming a married couple. However, the marriage lasted only 1 year and 6 months, as they announced their divorce in April 2024. Following the divorce, rumors surfaced about Yoo Young Jae's third marriage as well as allegations of forcible molestation involving Sunwoo Eun Sook's older sister, A. Sunwoo Eun Sook later revealed that she was unaware of these incidents until after the fact and subsequently filed a lawsuit to annul her marriage with Yoo Young Jae.
