tvN’s ‘The Game Caterers’ celebrates SM entertainment’s 30th anniversary with star-studded episode

tvN’s ‘ The Game Caterers’ heads to SM Entertainment for a special episode.

On November 29th at 8:40 PM KST, tvN’s ‘Game Caterers’ will air a special episode featuring 10 artists from SM Entertainment, celebrating the company’s 30th anniversary. The lineup includes Kangta from H.O.T., Changmin from TVXQ, Leeteuk from Super Junior, Hyoyeon from Girls’ Generation, Key from SHINee, Suho from EXO, Seulgi from Red Velvet, Doyoung from NCT, Karina from aespa, and Wonbin from RIIZE, bringing together representatives across generations.

Although the episode commemorates SM Entertainment’s 30 years, the participants’ hilarious moments of both rivalry and teamwork during games promise great entertainment.

The show kicks off with a team-based music quiz. Team “SM” led by Karina and Team “Seum” led by Wonbin compete fiercely for the grand prize—premium whiskey. Suho’s cheeky suggestion, “Can we share answers among team members?” and Hyoyeon’s quirky question, “If we win, can we share a sip of the whiskey among teammates?” hint at a chaotic yet comedic start.

The music quiz sees Key showcasing his extensive K-pop knowledge, honed through his appearances on tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday.’ The episode also features dynamic performances, including Key and Karina’s collaboration, group choreography spanning generations, and humorous moments like senior artists forgetting junior songs and vice versa. Karina’s playful move that unintentionally hurt Wonbin’s feelings is also revealed.

To bring the heated competition to a close, the artists unite for a group-based trivia quiz. Expectations are high for Hyoyeon, known for her legendary wrong answers, to see if she can finally get one right. Whether the 10 participants can successfully complete the group challenge will be unveiled during the broadcast.
