The inaugural Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) is generating significant buzz as it prepares to unveil an additional lineup of performers. Organized by Ilgan Sports, a leading entertainment and sports publication in Korea, the KGMA will be a two-day music festival celebrating the best of K-Pop music.
On November 11, the KGMA organizing committee will announce two "Next Generation" artists who will be joining the already star-studded lineup. These artists, representing the MZ generation, are expected to be leading figures in the future of K-Pop, further raising anticipation for the event.
The first-ever KGMA will take place on November 16 and 17 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. The first day, themed "Artist Day," will be hosted by NewJeans' Hanni and actress Nam Ji Hyun. Performers include NewJeans, EXO's D.O., TVXQ, BIBI, STAYC, (G)I-DLE, Youngtak, Yoo Hwe Seung, Lee Mu Jin, Lee Young Ji, Jung Dong Won (JD1), ZEROBASEONE, QWER, SHINee's Taemin, and P1Harmony.
The second day, "Song Day," will be hosted by aespa's Winter and Nam Ji Hyun, featuring performances by NOWADAYS, NiziU, DAY6, RIIZE, Song Ga In, aespa, ATEEZ, NCT WISH, Yuqi, UNIS, Lee Chan Won, JO1, CLASS:y, TREASURE, and FIFTY FIFTY.
With a spectacular lineup and the promise of unforgettable performances, the KGMA is poised to be a major event in the K-Pop calendar. The awards will recognize artists across various genres, including K-Pop, trot, and bands, who have made significant contributions to the Korean music industry.
The KGMA will be broadcast on Channel ENA, with streaming available on the OTT platform Wavve and globally on KISWE's "Love & Kpop."
