According to Pledis Entertainment on the 11th, Seventeen will release their 4th Japanese single album, ‘Shohikigen’ (消費期限), on the 27th. Ahead of the album’s release, the group pre-released the title track ‘Shohikigen’ on various online music platforms that day.

‘Shohikigen’ is a ballad that delves into the theme of the expiration date of emotions. Seventeen’s ‘hitmakers’ Woozi and Bumzu participated in writing and composing the song. The members’ delicate emotional expressions blend with string and guitar sounds to create a poignant musical experience.

The song has already gained positive feedback as it was featured as the theme song for the popular Japanese NHK drama ‘Mirai no Watashi ni Bukkamasareru!?’ (未来の私にぶっかまされる!?). 

Recently, Seventeen showcased their strong popularity in Japan by earning a ‘Platinum’ certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for their 12th mini-album, raising expectations for the success of their new single.

Seventeen is set to energize local fans once again with their upcoming Japanese dome tour. The group will hold the ‘SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR TO JAPAN’ starting at Vantelin Dome Nagoya on the 29th-30th, followed by Tokyo Dome on December 4th-5th, Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 12th and 14th-15th, and Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 19th and 21st-22nd.
